Landscapes at Groundswell Art Gallery

“During a difficult time in my life, I experienced a moment in nature that brought me the greatest joy. On a dark and cloudy day a small opening in the sky enabled the light to escape and reflect upon a small body of water below a mountaintop. Beyond luminescent that singular spotlight brought meaning to a dark time in my life. In this dark time I had discovered light. I understood that life was a mirrored reflection of nature’s ups and downs and that without darkness there could be no light. One existed because of the other. Both bound together.” – Michelle Tholen
